Overview
We are seeking for experienced Automotive Mechanics to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to our customers. This role requires a thorough understanding of various automotive systems, including but not limited to engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. The Automotive Mechanic will work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and alignments to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately.
- Repair or replace components such as shocks & struts, suspension parts, and air brake systems as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair needs clearly to clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and diesel engine repair techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with dealership experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and ability to perform auto body repairs is a plus.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of GM vehicles is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents including schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
