Maxpro is looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Service Technician who likes working with their hands, solving problems, and getting equipment back up and running. If you’re the kind of person who takes pride in quality work, stays organized, and doesn’t need someone looking over your shoulder all day — you’ll fit in well here.
This is a hands-on position working with industrial torque and calibration equipment in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and test industrial equipment
- Disassemble, clean, rebuild, and reassemble equipment
- Document repair findings and prepare service estimates
- Pull parts from inventory and complete repairs accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards at all times
Bonus Skills
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- Electrical troubleshooting using volt/OHM meters
- Soldering and minor fabrication
- Welding, grinding, sandblasting, or shop equipment
- ISO 17025 or calibration environments
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of mechanical or service experience preferred
- Technical school or associate degree preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented with good time management
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work with tools throughout the day
- Comfortable working around machinery, noise, and industrial equipment
- Ability to wear PPE including safety glasses and steel toe boots
