Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Server Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Server Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Duties
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
- Support the kitchen staff by restocking supplies and assisting with food preparation as needed.
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
- Handle food items following proper food handling procedures to maintain safety and quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly.
- Assist with catering events as required, ensuring that all food is presented beautifully and served efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in cleaning and maintaining dining areas, including bussing tables.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Kitchen experience is beneficial; catering or hotel experience is a plus.
