This position is required to have the ability to operate concrete pumps of various boom lengths. Pump Operator will assist in completion of paperwork to include pre-trip inspections and maintaining equipment records as required by Company policy and DOT. Pump Operator must have CDL Class B license with minimal driving violations and the ability to achieve Class A as dictated by business and operation demands. Individual must possess excellent internal/external customer service skills. Pump Operator must demonstrate proven leadership and maintain and guarantee quality, work ethics, and safety standards.
Qualifications & Essential Functions:
- Class B license required (Class A license preferred).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass American Concrete Pumping Association (ACPA) test to include but not limited to: small line pumps, high pressure pumps, multiple suction booms, technical section, safety and hand signals, etc.
- Punctual and consistent attendance and arrivals to work. Ability to work hours necessary to meet client demands. Some weekend work.
- Clean driving record.
- Pump concrete to customer satisfaction meeting the Company’s quality standards with respect to yards per hour in the safest manner.
- Positive and professional attitude.
- Mechanical attitude.
- Understanding of concrete.
- Minimum 2 years Concrete Pumping Experience
