As a client service representative, you will have the first and last interaction with our clients - the excellent communications and care you will provide to our clients, facilitated both effectively and compassionately, is important to us.
What will you do:

Answer busy telephones - answer lots of questions and transfer/redirect calls as needed

Check clients in and confirm information

Manage client records, reports, and email correspondence

Discuss payment options, process payments, set up third-party billing
-
Take payments on estimates and invoices
-
Able (or learn) to identify “stat” emergencies with the help of technical staff

Some administrative tasks and data entry

Maintain a neat and clean lobby

Requirements:

Strong customer service skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

You like people as well as their pets. Patience, empathy, and understanding are required.

Ability to remain composed in sometimes stressful and emotional situations

You are a compassionate listener

Previous experience in a veterinary setting (emergency experience is a huge plus)
