Job Title: Secondary Science Teacher(s) - Anticipated

Salary: Based on BCSS Salary Schedule
Expected Workday: As defined by the Principal
Terms of Employment: 9-Month Contract
Job Goals:
· Provide each student with optimum opportunities to learn, achieve, grow, and succeed to his/her fullest potential through high academic standards in a safe and controlled environment.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of bachelor’s degree
· Certification in the appropriate teaching areas
· Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
· Possible Coaching Duties
Performance Responsibilities:
· Must deliver the required curriculum in accordance with the standards expected of the Alabama Department of Education
· Other duties as may be assigned by the Principal
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Boaz City Board of Education.
