All Star Electric is looking to hire on an electrical foreman! As an electrical foreman you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all activities at a job site, including managing a crew of electricians, apprentices, and helpers. This role involves establishing and adjusting work timelines to align with the project schedule, organizing materials and equipment, and ensuring that all work meets All Star Electric's standards, staying on budget and on time while complying with relevant plans, specifications, codes, and safety requirements. The ideal candidate will be skilled in electrical work, leadership, and safe work tactics.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, assign, and collaborate with electricians, helpers, apprentices, etc. on the job site.
- Plan daily work schedules and assign tasks to crew members.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Monitor project progress and maintain productivity standards.
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot electrical systems and installations.
- Enforce workplace safety procedures and OSHA compliance.
- Communicate with project managers, general contractors, and clients regarding project status.
Qualifications and Skills
- Journeyman electrician license or equivalent certification preferred.
- 10+ years of electrical experience.
- 5+ years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in construction setting.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to operate lifts and other job-site equipment preferred.
- Time management and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift heavy materials.
- Work in various weather and job-site conditions.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
Work Environment
- Construction sites, industrial facilities, or maintenance environments
- May require overtime, weekends, nights, or travel depending on project demands
