Retail Associate Responsibilities:
- Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and properly handle different methods of payment
- Process sales transactions efficiently using retail math skills, cash handling, and cash management procedures.
- Accurately and efficiently execute point of sale and customer service standards
- Meet or exceed individual goals
- Support inventory management by restocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and organizing displays.
- Answer customer questions regarding products, services, or financial options with clear and helpful communication.
- Participate in daily service processes (e.g., register and cash balancing, change orders, replenish supplies
- The ability to multitask, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
- Commitment to ensure the store is always customer ready
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles with a focus on delivering excellent service.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
- Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate financial software systems efficiently and accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
