Overseeand inspect the work performed by engineering staff. Ensure that work iscomplete, equipment is fully functional, and client space is in prime workingcondition.
Reviewmonthly service request summaries to identify and address recurrent operationalproblems.
Formulateand implement a preventative maintenance program to ensure that buildingmachinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.
Inspectbuilding systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure theoperation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmentalconditions prescribed by the client.
Reviewassigned work orders. Estimate time and materials needed to complete repairs.Maintain an inventory of adequate supplies and tools and order necessarymaterials.
Assistteam with complex repairs, emergencies, and preventive maintenance.
Applyadvanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishingboth individual and department objectives.
Showcaseexpertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplineswithin the organization function.
Coachothers to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas withinthe function.

WhatYou’ll Need:
Technical Skills & Data Center Operations: Skilled in monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting maintenance activities for UPS systems, diesel generators, ATS/STS equipment, PDUs, HVAC, CRAC/CRAH units, and power distribution infrastructure. Hands-on experience utilizing BMS, EPMS, DCIM, and SCADA platforms for facility monitoring, alarm response, incident management, and uptime assurance. Strong background in preventive maintenance, vendor coordination, remote hands support, structured cabling, change management, commissioning support, and maintaining operational excellence within high-availability data center environments. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
General Skills: Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations. Ability to impact a range of customer, operation, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams. Capability to work within broad guidelines and policies. Proficiency in coaching others and sharing in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. Skill in leading by example and modeling behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Ability to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
