Job Description
We are seeking a skilled machinist experienced in CNC lathe operation and/or manual machining to join our team at Accurpress Inc. in Willmar, MN. As a machinist, you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, setting up and operating lathe and machining equipment, and producing precision metal components to exact specifications. Attention to detail and strong technical skills are crucial for this role.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or manual machining equipment to produce precision parts
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and tolerance standards
- Make adjustments to machine settings and tooling as needed
- Maintain machining equipment in good working condition
- Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in CNC lathe operation or manual machining, or equivalent machining school training; 2+ years preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and precision measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Machining certification is a plus but not required
