Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Kitchen Team Member to join our team. This role involves preparing food, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and working alongside a fast-paced team to deliver high-quality meals. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and able to handle a busy kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
- Assist with food prep (chopping, slicing, measuring ingredients)
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, workstations, and equipment
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work efficiently during busy service times
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Monitor inventory and report low stock to management
- Properly store food and label items as needed
- Help with opening and closing kitchen duties
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred (but not required)
- Basic knowledge of food prep and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to learn and take direction
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
