KP Staffing is now hiring wiring assemblers for a company that manufactures electrical control equipment in Phoenix, AZ !
Job Summary
The wiring assembler will wire, assemble, fit, and mount sub-assemblies, components, and standard fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment. This role includes performing work from written and verbal instructions, drawings, and manufacturing documentation while inspecting finished products for conformance.
Pay
$21 per hour
Shift
1st shift: 5 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Monday - Friday
Overtime is mandatory, averaging 20 hours per week.
Duties
- Wire, assemble, fit, and mount sub-assemblies, components, and standard fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment
- Perform wiring of control panels, switchgear, switchboards, and ATS units
- Wire electronic components including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
- Assemble electrical switchboard equipment
- Perform work from oral and written instructions, drawings, and manufacturing documentation
- Inspect and test finished products to ensure conformance with specifications and codes
- Maintain expected job progress and communicate problem areas or parts shortages
- Follow scheduled start and stop times, break periods, and overtime requirements as assigned
- Perform other job duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous wiring or electrical assembly experience required
- Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams, manufacturing drawings, and instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats
- Ability to work in a production environment and adjust to changing production demands
- Commitment to maintaining health and safety practices
- Ability to participate in safety training and demonstrate safe work practices
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
