Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

The Humane Society of Washington County (HSWC) is seeking a compassionate Registered Veterinarian Technician (RVT) who has experience in providing high quality care to animals in need. Surgeries in our onsite veterinary clinic focus primarily on spaying and neutering and on procedures that aim to improve overall quality of life.
This is a full-time position. Flexible schedule, Monday-Friday. No weekends or on call.
The ideal candidate holds a Maryland State Veterinary Technician License or is eligible to transfer license from another state within 60 days of hire. The candidate has a minimum of one-year experience in the veterinary field. The individual is a solid communicator with the ability to remain focused and positive when there is a need to pivot. Preference given to candidates who have worked in an animal shelter setting or in a HQHV spay/neuter clinic.
As a full-time employee, you’ll receive:
o $4,000 sign on bonus ($2,000 after first 90 days; $2,000 after one year)
o Competitive pay between $20/hour to $25/hour, commiserate with training and experience
