We are looking for Busser/Runners to join the Team, to help us provide amazing food, Prohibition style cocktails, and exemplary service to our Guests who are treated like family.
Busser/Runner Position Summary
The Busser/Runner role is twofold. As the Busser you ensure that the dining rooms are kept neat, clean, and functioning by the “hands on” assistance you provide to Servers, Hosts, and Bartenders. As the Runner you ensure the “speedy” assistance of helping to deliver trays of plates and food to the appropriate areas of the restaurant and bar.
Requirements/Qualifications
· Good appearance, professional, positive attitude and mannerisms
· Passion for providing extraordinary service
· Prepares dining room for Guests by cleaning tables, setting décor, condiments, napkins, service plates, utensils, etc. as needed
· Maintains table setting by removing courses as needed; replenishing utensils, etc. as needed
· Supports wait and kitchen staff by delivering/restocking needed items
· A strong desire to excel, strong desire to help out where needed, and work as part of a Team
· Maintains general cleanliness, and tidiness to the dining room, expo line, and other areas as needed
· Communicates with Guests on a friendly professional level
· Assists with the delivery of trays and prepared food to the tables, lounge, and bar seats as needed
· Ensures plates are free of smudges, and garnished properly before food delivery
· Keen eye for freshness, quality, and cleanliness
· Carries trays and bus tubs back to the dish area as needed, and separates dishes as needed
· Able to take direction, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
· Must be dependable, reliable, and responsible
· Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds, must be able to carry loaded trays
· Closes dining facility and/or expo line by cleaning chairs and tables, sweeping floors, wiping tray and equipment as needed, removing trash and recyclables from the facility
Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma/GED acquired or in progress
Amiable, outgoing, organized High School students would be considered
Some restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train
