# Field Imaging Technologist — East, South, SW Coast Florida
Sebastian, Melbourne, West Palm Beach; also serving Naples & Fort Myers

**Schedule:** Part-time to start (3 days/week), growing to full-time
**Type:** 1099 Independent Contractor
## About the Role
We provide mobile urological procedure support — fusion biopsy imaging, prostate spacer placement, and related in-office and hospital-based procedures — for urology practices across Florida. We're building out dedicated coverage for our East Coast accounts (Sebastian, Melbourne, West Palm Beach and north, with occasional reach into Gainesville) and looking for a technologist who can own that territory.
This is a field-based role. You'll be the one setting up and running equipment with the surgeon — not sitting behind a desk waiting for direction.
## What You'll Do
- Provide on-site **ultrasound-based imaging support** (fusion biopsy) for urology procedures at physician offices, surgery centers, and hospitals across the East Coast territory — this is your primary, day-to-day work
- Cross-train over time on additional urologic support procedures beyond ultrasound as you grow with the role
- Set up, operate, and break down imaging equipment independently at each site
- Communicate directly and confidently with surgeons and OR/office staff before, during, and after procedures
- Occasionally travel to cover Southwest Florida (Naples/Fort Myers) cases when needed
- Manage your own schedule and travel logistics across a multi-site territory
## What We're Looking For
- **Imaging background required** — ultrasound, radiologic technology, or direct experience with fusion biopsy / urological imaging systems strongly preferred
- Comfortable working **independently** with minimal oversight — this role is 90% solo fieldwork
- Strong **interpersonal and communication skills** — you'll be representing DT directly to physicians and their staff, often without a manager in the room
- Willingness to **drive across a multi-county territory**, with occasional travel to Southwest Florida — **company vehicle provided**
- Professional, calm under pressure, and detail-oriented — these are live clinical procedures

## Schedule & Growth
Starting at **3 days per week**, with a clear path to full-time as the East Coast route grows. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build a territory alongside a growing practice — not a fixed, static route.
**Location flexibility:** we're open to candidates based in Fort Myers/Naples or West Palm Beach and north — tell us where you're based and how that fits the territory.
