$17.50 Per Hour
Are you a creative person who also loves a good formula?
Terra Cottage is looking for a Merchandiser to be one of the behind-the-scenes magic makers who keeps our shops feeling fresh, beautiful, and easy to shop.
This is a hands-on creative role for someone with a great visual eye who also loves structure. We’ve developed clear merchandising formulas and standards that take the guesswork out of creating a successful floor. You’ll learn the system, then bring your own creativity and attention to detail to make it come to life.

What You’ll Do
- Merchandise new arrivals and refresh existing product
- Style racks, tables, ladders, mannequins, and feature displays
- Create balanced displays using color, product, height, and texture
- Follow Terra Cottage merchandising formulas and visual standards
- Complete floor moves and seasonal resets
- Keep displays full, intentional, and easy to shop
- Adjust displays as inventory sells and changes
- Fold, hang, organize, and move product as needed
- Work through merchandising priorities provided by your manager
- Help maintain both our Roseville and Folsom locations
What We’re Looking For
- A strong natural visual eye
- Creative, but comfortable following a formula
- Detail-oriented and particular about how things look
- Efficient and able to make decisions without overthinking
- Coachable and excited to learn our system
- Comfortable working independently while taking direction from a manager
- Reliable and able to complete projects within a set timeframe
- Comfortable being on your feet, moving product, and using step ladders
Retail or merchandising experience is helpful but not required. A great eye, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn matter most.
Schedule & Location Requirements
- 15–20 hours per week
- Part-time
- Must be able to work at both our Roseville and Folsom locations
- Some early morning or pre-opening shifts may be required
- Schedule is built around new arrivals, floor resets, and merchandising needs
