Applied Insight ABA is a local, BCBA owned, client-centered Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy company in Florence, Alabama committed to providing personalized, high-quality services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. We are growing and seeking a dedicated and compassionate BCBA to join our close-knit team. This role offers flexibility, a supportive atmosphere, and opportunities to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
Position Overview
As a BCBA at Applied Insight ABA, you will be responsible for developing and supervising individualized ABA therapy programs, collaborating with families and caregivers, and providing mentorship to your registered behavior technician. This can either be a hybrid or fully-remote position with remote work flexibility and occasional in-person or virtual team meetings as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
- Oversee the implementation of ABA programs, ensuring they align with best practices and ethical guidelines.
- Provide training, supervision, and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor client progress, update treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss case progress and ensure quality service delivery.
- Stay current with ABA research and practices to provide innovative and effective interventions.
Qualifications
- Current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles, data collection, and analysis.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote/hybrid environment.
- Reliable internet connection and proficiency with telehealth tools and technology.
- Access to transportation for occasional in-person sessions or meetings (if hybrid).
