This is a full time position that will require nights and weekends. No Sundays or Mondays, so two set days off every week.
Staff Management
- Hire, train, and supervise bartender/servers and support staff to ensure high quality service and expectations set by General Manager and Owner.
- Create task lists for front of house staff to ensure compliance with sanitation and cleanliness standards.
- Assist in scheduling management with the General Manager.
- Maintain a positive and enriching work environment between the staff.
Inventory Supply and Control
- Assist General Manager in management of alcohol, beverages, and other supplies.
- Monthly inventory.
- Monitor waste.
- Assist General Manager in the ordering of alcohol and beverages.
- Organizing and maintaining cleanliness of liquor and beverage areas.
Customer Service
- Checking in with guests to ensure excellent customer service.
- Assist the front of house staff with handling customer complaints.
Compliance and Safety
- Enforce responsible beverage service.
- Train and coach staff on maintaining health and safety regulations.
Event Planning
- Assist General Manager in special events and promotions.
General
- Ability to assist front of house staff in their tasks, such as, bartending, food running, and bussing.
- Assist Chef/General Manager in cocktail menu creations including seasonal menus, event menus, and specials.
- Provide strong hospitality skills and ensure staff are meeting the standards of the General Manager and Owner.
- Taking appropriate disciplinary action when necessary.
- Strong communication skills.
K Knowledgeable in liquors, wine, and beer as well as beverage creation.
Requirements
- Serv-Safe certification
- Current Bartending License through City of Waukesha
- Nights and weekend availability required.
