Food Service Director

Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the food service department, including menu planning, food preparation, and serving
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including infection control, dietary, and food safety standards
Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents, including those with special dietary requirements
Manage and supervise a team of food service staff, including cooks, servers, and housekeeping personnel
Monitor and control food costs, inventories, and labor costs to ensure efficient operations and budgetary compliance
Develop and implement strategies to improve food quality, presentation, and taste
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement resident-centered care plans
Ensure that all food service operations are conducted with the highest level of customer service and compassion
Requirements:
Associate's degree in food service management, Nutrition, or a related field
Minimum 0 years of experience in a Food Service Director role (food service management or supervision experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of food service operations, menu planning, and food safety standards
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
