The workship position will be responsible for assisting the director of the Arboretum
in maintaining/enhancing the grounds. Possible job duties include grass mowing, trail
clearing, removal of invasive species, and planting of native vegetation.
Minimum Qualifications
1. The workship student will need to be a biology/environmental science major
Please note: Student positions are FICA/Medicare tax exempt only if students are enrolled in classes in the semester work is performed. To qualify for the FICA/Medicare tax exemption, you must be enrolled on a half-time basis for the Fall, Spring, and/or Summer.
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of Organismal Biology is not required but preferred.
