The Production Associate is part of a team environment that is responsible for manufacturing and assembling Safety Test original products in a timely manner with a commitment to high quality.
- Cutting and sewing original products with industrial sewing machines
- Knotting and braiding various types of rope required for certain products
- Customizing products through screen printing based on the customer’s request
- Measuring, tracing and cutting material with either scissors or an electric saw for various patterns
- Using a grommet and rivet machine during the assembly of products
- Assembling plastic products by piecing together with springs, pins, magnets, wired brushes, and buttons
- Using a press machine to press multiple metal dyes onto sheets of leather, creating various designs, then adding the final product to other original items
- Continuously cleaning and maintain organization of the department, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, organizing and sanitizing station
- Identify part numbers listed on work orders in order to understand what products need to be built
- Take initiative in monitoring and recording products on work orders to ensure inventory accuracy
Support team members through assisting in completing products and work orders
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- One year of experience in a production setting is preferred
Capable of lifting and moving up to 75 Pounds
- Stand for long periods of time
- Bend, walk, sit and twist
