Position Summary:
Choice House is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitorial Staff member to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in our sober living homes and inpatient treatment facility. This role is essential in creating a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for our residents.
We have a location in Gunbarrel/Boulder and our sober living homes are located in Louisville. Transportation is required for this position.
Schedule:
Part-time - schedule to be determined and will be within normal business hours.
Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize common areas, resident rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, hallways, offices, and clinical areas

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned areas

Empty trash and replace liners

Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces

Follow infection control procedures and proper sanitation standards

Restock cleaning, paper, and hygiene supplies as needed

Safely use and store cleaning chemicals according to guidelines

Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to management

Maintain professional boundaries with residents and clients

Ensure confidentiality and respect privacy at all times
Qualifications:

Prior janitorial, custodial, or environmental services experience preferred

Experience in healthcare, residential, or treatment settings is a plus

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Reliable transportation - REQUIRED

Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting, repetitive motion)

Strong attention to detail

Background check and drug screening required

Compensation:
Hourly rate based on experience.
