As our company continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Project Manager - HVAC, Refrigeration & Construction to lead commercial HVAC, refrigeration, food equipment, and construction projects from kickoff to closeout. Whether your background is in HVAC, mechanical construction, commercial refrigeration, or project operations, we're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership and delivering successful outcomes.
We're not looking for someone to simply manage projects. We're looking for someone who wants to own the outcome.
WHAT WE DO
- Own projects from handoff through closeout, ensuring they are completed safely, profitably, and on schedule.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing sight of the details.
- Build and maintain project schedules while coordinating manpower, materials, subcontractors, and customer expectations.
- Monitor labor, material costs, profitability, billing, and change orders to protect project margins.
- Serve as the bridge between the field, office, customers, vendors, and General Contractors.
- Lead project kickoff meetings, project reviews, and lessons learned discussions.
- Coach and develop Foremen and future leaders while helping create accountability throughout the team.
- Solve problems before they become emergencies and communicate proactively when challenges arise.
- Make decisions, take ownership, and bring solutions—not just problems.
- Learn, improve, and help the team get better every day.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience managing HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical, Construction, or similar trade-related projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Financial awareness and the ability to manage budgets, labor, and profitability.
- Exceptional organization and follow-through.
- Ability to balance urgency with attention to detail.
- Someone who is comfortable holding people accountable while maintaining strong relationships.
- A leader who is committed to continuous improvement and helping others grow.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE
- Project Manager, Construction Project Manager, HVAC Project Manager, Mechanical Project Manager, or Refrigeration Project Manager
- Commercial HVAC, Commercial Refrigeration, Mechanical Construction, or Food Equipment experience
- Managing project schedules, budgets, labor planning, and profitability
- Leading Foremen, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors
- Working directly with customers, General Contractors, and project stakeholders
