Duties
- Safely operate a wide range of heavy equipment including backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other construction machinery to complete project tasks efficiently.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
- Assist with site preparation by grading, excavating, loading materials, and moving earth or debris as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and construction site regulations to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and team members.
- Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines effectively.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and operational reports for documentation purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as backhoes, excavators, cranes, and related machinery.
- Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with various types of heavy equipment operation in diverse environments.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving heavy vehicles like dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks or tanker trucks.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
