New York Center For Child Development is currently seeking Lunch Coverage Paraprofessionals to help assist at our Special Education Preschool Program located in West Harlem. This is a part time position; hours are from 11am until 2 pm Monday through Friday. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for classroom experience and mentorship, in a special education preschool environment.
The responsibilities of the position include:
- Support Teaching staff and classroom needs
- Support staff and children during lunch and nap times
- Support the needs of the children as assigned
*Experience working in a Child Care setting is a plus*
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Classroom/childcare experience
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus but not essential
