Duties
- Prepare and serve a diverse selection of cocktails, spirits, wines, craft beers, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote beverage sales.
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including processing cash, credit card payments, and tips.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels regularly, restock supplies as needed, and communicate supply needs to management.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours, including banquet or catering events if applicable.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beer brewing processes, and beverage recipe development.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods without compromising quality.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
- Experience in food handling, food safety standards, and restaurant operations is highly desirable.
