We are seeking a motivated and personable Roofing Salesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, consulting with potential clients, and providing expert guidance on roofing solutions. This role is key in building trust with clients and helping them find the best roofing options to meet their needs.
**Responsibilities:**
- Prospect and generate leads through networking, referrals, and marketing efforts
- Meet with homeowners and business owners to assess roofing needs and provide professional recommendations
- Present and explain roofing solutions, materials, and financing options clearly and confidently
- Prepare accurate estimates and detailed proposals for clients
- Follow up with leads and manage customer relationships throughout the sales process
- Collaborate with project managers and installers to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain a strong knowledge of industry products, trends, and regulations
- Attend trade shows, community events, and team meetings to promote the company
**Qualifications:**
- Proven sales experience, preferably in construction or roofing industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong customer service orientation and professionalism
- Ability to explain technical information in a clear, customer-friendly manner
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
