Commission-Only Insurance Producer
(Property & Casualty – personal and commercial)

Established independent agency seeking a motivated, licensed Property & Casualty producer to generate and service new business within the agency. This is a traditional producer role within an established office environment and not Multi-level recruiting. The role is commission only. 60% 1st year 40% renewals. We are making it competitive because we are hoping to attract a candidate that stays long term. Due to this being a 1099 position, you will have complete flexibility. I am not a micromanager and do not care how often you come in, when you come in, etc. As long as you are doing well, it’s totally up to you, but you will have your own private office when you do.
You must have experience in the industry, be able to generate, produce and service the business you generate. We do have a substantial life and Health book, as well as a very long list of previous P&C clients/prospects that you will be able to start cross selling to immediately.
Compensation
- Commission only (no salary or draw)

Additional Context
This is not a multilevel marketing or recruiting-based position. You will be working directly within an established independent local agency, focused on writing and servicing real business. Regarding paid leads, we are not against them outright. On the employee benefit side (our agency has P&C as well as employee benefits, life, Indv health, etc,) the leads tend to be very old and no longer useful. It simply hasn’t been worth it. But if they work on the P & C side, we are willing to assist with the cost.
We have previously hired producers on a salaried or draw-based structure. After multiple instances where upfront compensation exceeded production, we shifted to a commission-only model. This structure is designed to align incentives, reduce risk, and identify producers who can consistently perform, and to find a good long-term fit with a new producer.
