Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within our establishment. This position is essential in ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests, contributing to their overall satisfaction and comfort during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a tidy appearance.
- Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate floor care techniques.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure all equipment is maintained in good working condition.
- Assist with the cleaning of public areas as needed, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Provide exceptional service to guests by responding to requests promptly and courteously.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or industrial cleaning preferred.
- Knowledge of custodial practices and floor care techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- A background in hospitality or housekeeping management is advantageous but not required.
