Behavior Therapist (RBT/BT) – Part-Time or Full-Time

Hours: Between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Part-time and full-time opportunities available (30–35 hours/week for full-time)
We’re looking for a Behavior Therapist to join our Merrionette Park clinic. This is a great opportunity to be part of a collaborative, clinically strong team focused on meaningful progress for our clients.
What You’ll Do:
Behavior Therapists provide direct ABA therapy to a consistent caseload and work closely with BCBAs, fellow therapists, and families.
- Provide 1:1 or small group ABA therapy to children with autism and related disorders
- Implement individualized treatment plans with strong fidelity
- Collect and analyze data to support clinical decision-making
- Collaborate with BCBAs to share progress, challenges, and ideas
- Identify when programs need to be adjusted based on client progress
- Support behavior plans and contribute ideas to improve outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and provide feedback as requested
- Assist with parent training and generalization of skills
- Support community-based learning opportunities and outings
- Assist with creating materials and updating programming systems (e.g., Rethink)
What We’re Looking For:
- Current RBT certification or willingness to obtain within 45 days of hire
- Completion of 40-hour training (if not already certified) within 45 days
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work with a wide range of learners across skill levels
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
- Strong work ethic and ability to maintain a consistent schedule
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to actively engage with clients (running, jumping, playing, etc.)
- Comfortable with bending, squatting, and floor play
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
- Ability to pass a background check
