McBride Legal Group, P.A. is a growing family law firm seeking an experienced Florida Family Law Litigation Paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional client service.
This position offers an experienced paralegal the opportunity to take ownership of assigned cases, work closely with attorneys, and play a meaningful role in helping clients navigate some of the most important matters of their lives.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate has substantial Florida family-law experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to independently manage multiple active litigation matters with accuracy, professionalism, and consistent follow-through.
This is not an entry-level position. Recent Florida family-law paralegal experience is required. Applicants without meaningful Florida family-law experience will not be considered.
We are seeking a proactive, solutions-oriented professional who can anticipate case needs, manage deadlines, help move cases forward, and contribute positively to a high-performing team.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years of recent paralegal experience
- Meaningful experience handling Florida family-law litigation
- Knowledge of Florida family-law procedures, terminology, deadlines, and court filings
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, notices, and financial documents
- Strong organizational and case-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and competing priorities
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff
- Professional and compassionate approach to client communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Florida Registered Paralegal designation
- Paralegal certificate or degree
- Experience with:
- Clio Manage or similar practice-management software
- Florida Courts E-Filing Portal
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Adobe Acrobat Pro
- OneDrive
Responsibilities
- Draft and prepare family-law pleadings, motions, notices, discovery, financial affidavits, correspondence, and related documents
- Manage assigned case files from intake through resolution
- Maintain litigation calendars, deadlines, task lists, and case-management systems
- Coordinate hearings, mediations, depositions, discovery, and other case-related events
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients
- Communicate effectively with opposing counsel, judicial assistants, court personnel, experts, and other professionals
- Assist attorneys with hearing, mediation, deposition, and trial preparation
- Organize exhibits, evidence, financial records, discovery responses, and trial materials
- Monitor active cases and proactively identify deadlines, outstanding tasks, and issues requiring attorney attention
- Support the implementation of attorney-directed case strategy
- Maintain accurate, organized, and complete electronic case files
- Deliver exceptional client service throughout the life of each case

Compensation and Benefits
- $28.00–$38.00 per hour, depending on directly relevant experience
