Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Clover
- Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and presentation
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
- Manage table turnover efficiently by bussing tables, resetting settings, and maintaining cleanliness throughout service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, including serving a must.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, Clover ect..
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Culinary experience or background in food preparation is a plus but not required
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and nights as needed in a lively hospitality environment.
Pay: $8.00 per hour
