Full or Part Time Registered Veterinary Technician or equivalent
High quality veterinary practice seeks career-oriented, experienced California Licensed REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN for full or part time position in West Sacramento, Ca. FIVE YEARS of experience is required. We have a full service hospital with digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, dental xray & equipment and surgery. Practice owner is a board certified clinical pathologist. We see a case load focused on internal medicine.
Our clinic has a friendly, family atmosphere and we strive to do the best for every patient, provide personalized care as we try to have fun doing our jobs.
Candidate must be mature, caring, have a strong work ethic and be able to learn new routines accurately. Ability to multitask and attention to detail are a must. We are particularly looking for an RVT with excellent skills in anesthetic delivery and monitoring including ETCO2. In addition, we are looking for a life-long learner who is proficient in patient care, radiology technique/positioning, dentistry, IV catheter placement, drug administration and laboratory diagnostics. Candidates shall have strong communication, organizational and leadership skills to help educate clients about the pets' healthcare.
