We are currently seeking a Welder/Robot Operator to join our team. This role involves fitting and tacking parts to specifications, loading and unloading materials, conducting quality checks before, during, and after welding, and cleaning parts pre- and post-welding. Additionally, the selected candidate will receive training to operate a robotic welding cell.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding according to specifications and drawings
- Fit, tack, and weld parts to meet quality standards
- Load and unload parts efficiently
- Inspect and verify weld quality throughout the process
- Clean and prepare parts before and after welding
- Learn and operate robotic welding equipment with training
Qualifications & Requirements:
- MIG welding experience required
- Strong ability and willingness to learn robot programming and advance within the company
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Must pass a mandatory drug test
