Location: St Peterburg, FL
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Breaks: Two paid 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch
We are seeking a hands-on Production Technician / Electronics Assembler to assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair complex electronic and mechanical products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role combines precision assembly with technical troubleshooting and requires a strong understanding of electronic components, mechanical assemblies, and production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble, inspect, and test complex electronic and mechanical products according to engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly procedures.
Troubleshoot and repair defective assemblies and subassemblies, including pumps, sensors, transmitters, calibrators, controllers, and other electronic components.
Perform component-level diagnostics using schematics and technical documentation to identify and resolve production issues.
Ensure all products meet quality, safety, and production standards while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
Support production by assisting with training, product audits, and continuous process improvements as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience with electronic and mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills at the component level.
Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented production environment.
