Metro Pools Colorado, a Pool and Spa Service and Repair Company based in Metro Denver, has an opening for a full-time Pool Repair Technician with opportunities for growth in the aquatics field.
We are a family-owned Colorado business that strives to enhance the resort experience by being “Not Your Average Pool Boy.” We are looking for service technicians to support our growing organization. As a service technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and installing residential pool equipment all the way up to large commercial pools. Mechanical equipment includes but is not limited to chemical controllers, variable speed pumps, filtration systems, heaters, UV sanitation, and specialty equipment.
Core Duties:
- Test, balance, and understand pool water chemistry
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues
- Safely use various power tools and equipment including but not limited to: pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, saws, grinders, multimeter, manometer and various hand tools
- Professionally communicate with customers and office staff
- Utilize specialized scheduling software to review assigned work, update work orders, and complete service reports
- Ensure all equipment is running as needed and report any repairs required.
- Report any damage to equipment for repair.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of pool industry experience, maintenance work or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License is mandatory
- Able to work in the US
- Prompt and punctual attendance to the shop or job site is required
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (e.g. standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 80 pounds etc.)
- Ability to follow troubleshooting guides
- Ability to measure, cut, glue PVC pipe
- Knowledge of hydraulics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in uncontrolled climates
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety rules
- Must conduct business professionally and be professional in appearance
- Ownership of quality of work and a positive attitude
- Reliable vehicle and willingness to drive your own vehicle for work. (We reimburse at the Federal reimbursement rate)

- Must have the ability to work early in the mornings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 2 week probationary period at $21 per hour, then moves up $24 per hour or higher based on experience and performance.
Schedule:
- 8-10 hour shift normally but sometimes we work until the job is completed
- Day shift
- Typical Monday to Friday, occasional weekend work if needed.
- Overtime as needed
