The Primrose School of Sandy Springs is an AdvancED/SACS accredited private school. We are seeking full time Pre-Kindergarten teacher to join our amazing team! We value a TEAM environment. We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic Pre-Kindergarten teacher!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist with, or responsible for the supervision and daily class functions of a classroom.
Assist with, or responsible for the implementation of the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule using the Primrose School Balanced Learning curriculum and materials.
Forms and maintains positive partnerships with parents.
Required/Preferred Qualifications:
Previous teaching or assistant teaching position with a public or private school system, a quality preschool, child care center or church nursery.
Degree, preferably in Early Childhood Education or Child Development related field, and/or CDA.
Ability to form positive relationships with children. Knowledge of social, emotional needs of children.
Must meet requirements of Georgia state child care regulatory agency.
Knowledge of lesson planning and curriculum implementation.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
