American Traveler is hiring a GI/Endoscopy Technician with 1-2 years of experience and Olympus scope handling skills for a hospital-based Endoscopy unit.

Work in a hospital's Endoscopy/GI unit with 8 procedural rooms and 18 PACU bays
-
Unit performs MAC and conscious sedation procedures with holding and recovery rooms
-
Monday through Friday day shifts, 7:15am-3:45pm with a rotating shift of 8am-4:30pm
-
Department operates 6:30am-5:30pm, with rotating shifts required depending on hours
-
On-call coverage required for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
-
Clinician-to-patient ratio of 1:1 in procedure rooms and 1:2/3 in PACU
-
Serves all patient populations with a census of 60-70 procedures per day
-
No floating required
-
Utilizes EPIC EMR for charting
-
Minimum 1-2 years of GI Technician/Endoscopy experience required

Experience with Olympus scope set-up, handling, and reprocessing required

BLS certification required (AHA only)

SGNA or CBSPD certification preferred

License required if applicable

Active MA license required at time of consideration; no pending or conditional licenses accepted

Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Perform GI/Endoscopy technician duties including scope set-up, handling, and reprocessing

Support procedural team in a fast-paced endoscopy unit

Local candidates accepted; permanent residence must be within 60 miles of Boston, MA for standard rate eligibility
