Frymoyer Stone Fabrication & Supply is seeking a dependable, hardworking Utility Stone Fabricator to join our team. This is a hands-on, versatile position for someone comfortable working in a fabrication/shop environment and performing a variety of duties based on daily production needs.
Responsibilities
- Operate stone saws and fabrication equipment
- Cut and finish natural stone to project specifications
- Perform hand-finishing and detailing of fabricated stone
- Sandblast stone as required
- Assist with custom architectural stone fabrication
- Load and unload stone, pallets, and materials
- Safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment
- Package and prepare finished stone for customer pickup, delivery, and shipping
- Maintain an organized and safe shop and work area
- Assist with other production and shop duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous stone fabrication, construction, masonry, manufacturing, or similar hands-on experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate tools and equipment
- Ability to read measurements and follow fabrication specifications
- Forklift experience preferred
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to quality and detail
- Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with stone fabrication and material handling
- Willingness to learn and perform multiple functions within the shop
Schedule
Monday through Friday, day shift, with some weekend work as order volume and production needs require.
