E-Commerce Customer Service Associate
Under the direction of the E-Commerce Support Supervisor, this role provides radical customer service to all incoming phone, chat, and email inquiries related to Eagle Eye Outfitters website; Shopeagleeye.com. This position will assist with numerous activities that support the E-Commerce department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answering phone/chat/email inquiries and ensuring that the customer is at the center of every decision made.
- Assist customers in navigating our website and answering questions about products and brands we sell.
- Maintaining a positive and friendly attitude.
- De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers.
- Assist in checking online orders for potential fraud.
- Processes returns and refunds from E-commerce orders.
- Performs general housekeeping of personal work area and assists co-workers in maintaining sanitary shared areas.
- Provides support with special projects assigned by E-commerce Manager or Asst. Manager.
- May assist the Order Fulfillment team during peak times throughout the year. As well as the Product Listing Associates.
- Other Duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience:
- High school degree or equivalent. Any computer training certification would be a plus.
- 2 years or more experience working in a call center or a retail environment.
- 1 year experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite or any equivalent software.
- Phone skills and etiquette, including familiarity with complex or multi-line phone systems.
- Great active listening skills.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- A patient and empathetic attitude with a sunny disposition
- Comfortable switching between multiple PC applications
- Strong multi-tasker and self-starter
Schedule Requirements:
- 5 Day work week, typically 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
- Occasional Saturdays during peak times
- Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday are mandatory.
- Eagle Eye is closed every Sunday.
Physical Demands:
- Remain in a normal seated position for prolonged periods.
- Physical strength for daily lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 25 lbs
- Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and mental focus.
- Use of hands for a firm and robust grasping—frequent finger dexterity.
- Looking at PC screen for up to 8 hours a day
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to talk, hear, and communicate clearly with co-workers and customers.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
