Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor/Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities at Ankeny Location. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. Schedule: Monday to Friday 5:30PM - 10:30 PM The ideal candidate will have experience in various cleaning and custodial tasks, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of hygiene. Prior experience in commercial, industrial, or residential cleaning is preferred, along with skills in floor care, buffing, and facilities maintenance. Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across all areas of the facility
- Conduct deep cleaning procedures such as carpet cleaning, floor buffing, and surface sanitation
- Maintain restrooms by replenishing supplies and ensuring cleanliness standards are met
- Handle specialized cleaning tasks such as industrial cleaning or custodial maintenance as needed
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles, including commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shift
