Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend beverage options tailored to their tastes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage cash handling responsibilities with precision
- Develop new beverage recipes and craft innovative cocktails to enhance the menu offerings
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and collaborate with management on ordering beverages and bar essentials
- Ensure responsible serving practices by checking IDs and adhering to alcohol service regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within a hospitality environment; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as RPOWER or Micros POS, along with basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications
- Expertise in cocktail creation, beverage recipe development, wine knowledge, craft beer experience, and brewing fundamentals
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with catering or banquet service is desirable but not required
- Strong communication skills coupled with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Pay: $23.86 - $28.73 per hour
