Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Teaching License valid through the Colorado Department of Education (CDE)
- SSW (School Social Worker) or Counselor Endorsement required
- Previous experience working with K-12 students in school settings highly valued
- Strong interpersonal skills, compassion, and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and interventions to students individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrative staff to identify students in need of assistance
- Develop and implement social-emotional learning strategies that promote healthy development
- Advocate for students and coordinate with outside agencies and community resources when appropriate
- Participate in IEP and other multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate, confidential student records in line with school policies
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that helps all students feel seen, heard, and valued
This position is onsite and will engage with one dedicated K-12 caseload, providing a consistent, supportive presence throughout the school year.
