Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts issuance
- Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and upselling to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure attractive presentation
- Stock shelves and manage inventory levels to keep the store well-supplied and inviting
- Handle customer transactions efficiently while maintaining excellent phone etiquette for remote inquiries
- Support team members with supervising tasks when needed and contribute to a positive team environment
Skills
- Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures with strong retail math skills
- Previous supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in a retail setting
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos and suggest complementary items through upselling techniques
- Bilingual communication skills to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette for professional remote communication
- Strong merchandising skills for creating appealing displays and managing stock levels
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales environments is advantageous
- Basic math skills for accurate cash register operation and transaction balancing
- Exceptional customer service abilities with clear communication skills to address customer questions confidently

Pay: $17.25 - $17.50 per hour
