Job Overview
King Maintenance commercial cleaning is looking for Auto Shop Warehouse - bay porter for 3 days per week (Friday/Saturday/Sunday), to work in a large truck mechanic shop. Experience is preferred but not necessary and specific training for the position will be provided. Some heavy lifting is required (oil pans etc.) This position is imperative to supporting the overall efficiency in the shop. They will provide you a work uniform.
This position in located in a large truck mechanic shop. On the job training will be provided.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods comfortably throughout the shift.
Excellent customer service skills to support positive interactions with team members and customers when needed.
Must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation to and from work
Must be able to pass a Background Check & Drug Screen, good Attendance record
$18.00 per hour
Up to 2% raise at 90 day evaluation / up to 3% raise on yearly evaluation
Work 3 days per week - Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 4 days off per week
6:00am - 6:00pm (12 hour shifts/ 36 hours per week)
Responsibilities
Clean all truck bays, mop under all benches, around all poles, and under all toolboxes
Empty all oil drain pans and dispose of old filters - heavy lifting of oil pans required.
Pick up trash, empty all trash cans
Clean all benches top and bottom
Wash down wash bay walls and doors
Change roll towels in locker room and wash bay, as needed
Sweep and mop the Dyno Bay, Mop floors between doors and drains - keep clean mop water available.
Twice Weekly: Clean all air hoses and wipe down
Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to shop safety protocols and cleaning procedures.
