Reports To: Director of Revenue Cycle Management
Summary:
Client Success Manager is the liaison between Medcor clients and the Global RCM Teams. The Client Success Manager is responsible for leading a remote and/or hybrid team, ensuring the full revenue cycle day-to-day operations are completed, and adhering to compliance with Medcor policies and procedures.
Education or Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of management, supervisory, or lead-worker experience; or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
- Graduate from accredited billing school highly preferred.
- College degree highly preferred: or equivalent education/experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Billing Expertise
- Thorough knowledge of the electronic billing system and all billing related profiles on multiple EMR systems.
- Thorough knowledge of all third-party payer billing requirements.
- Thorough knowledge of rules and regulations regarding government-sponsored billing.
- Administration
- Considerable knowledge of office practices and procedures.
- Considerable knowledge of rules, regulations, procedures, and work performed in the assigned area.
- Operations
- Ability to direct, plan, supervise, coordinate, and evaluate the work of a Global Team in an effective manner.
- Ability to effectively plan and organize workflow, activities, and scheduling to ensure efficient departmental operations.
- Ability to evaluate, improve, and make suggestions for improvement.
- Ability to prepare and maintain routine departmental records and reports. Hiring, mentoring, PIPs, performance evaluations and training plans. Ensures proper staffing in assigned area.
- Personnel Management
- Ability to plan, direct and coordinate the work of a Global Team in an effective manner.
- Ability to supervise and train Global Team members.
- Communications
- Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely in oral and written form.
- Ability to speak clearly and distinctly and provide assistance to team members and the public in a pleasant and courteous manner.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with departmental managers, administrative staff, other employees, patients, and C-Suites.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plans, supervises, and coordinates all activities of billing department areas.
- Establishes controls and reviews mechanisms for every procedure to ensure that systems and procedures are being followed correctly.
- Coordinates the workflow and ensures deadlines are met.
- Resolves disciplinary matters and counsels with team as necessary.
- Assists with a variety of special projects.
- Solves complex billing issues for Global Team and with insurance carriers.
- Works with all third-party payers to establish an information highway for billing and follow-up on claims.
- Ensures that all electronic claim submission and electronic reimbursement issues are addressed by working with venders and/or information System.
- Maintains all billing profiles that prevent claims from final billing (transmitted or sent incorrectly).
- Establishes controls and reviews mechanism for every procedure to ensure that systems and procedures are being followed correctly.
- Implements established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.
- Responsible for client reporting (month end close, client report cards and projects). In addition, responsible for C-Suites presentations and reporting.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Knowledge of insurance companies and their rules and proper billing regulations
- Knowledge of medical, insurance collections, and insurance terminology
- Knowledge of HIPAA and other applicable state/federal requirements
- Knowledge of applicable state collection laws
- EMR/EHR software experience (Epic, eCW, NexGen, Cerner, Dentrix, etc.)
- Proficient using business communication tools (MS Teams, GoTo, Zoom)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,640.00 - $97,760.00 per year
