Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and manage our cleaning operations across various hospitality and commercial environments. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, including cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks.
- Implement and monitor cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with sanitation standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to verify cleanliness, organization, and adherence to quality standards.
- Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations.
- Manage scheduling, assign tasks efficiently, and motivate staff to meet performance goals.
- Oversee inventory levels of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement processes.
- Address guest or client concerns promptly with professionalism, ensuring a positive experience through excellent customer service.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in housekeeping or custodial services within hospitality or commercial settings.
- Strong background in cleaning practices including industrial cleaning, janitorial work, and sanitation management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and communicate clearly with staff at all levels.
- Experience overseeing safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and workplace safety standards.
- Familiarity with laundry operations and hospitality industry standards is highly desirable.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous management or team supervision experience that showcases your ability to lead with confidence and clarity.
- This role may require working nights, weekends, and public holidays based on business needs.
