At Unearth Potential, we are a clinician-owned ABA clinic focused on thoughtful, individualized care and a supportive, team-centered work environment.
We are hiring full-time and part-time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our clinic in the Joplin community.
About the Role
This is an active, therapeutic, play-based role where you will work directly with children and teens throughout your day—engaging on the floor, using games, movement, and structured activities to support learning and development.
This role requires consistency, patience, and the ability to follow structured plans while adapting to each child’s needs.
At least one year of RBT experience is preferred; however, we provide paid training and RBT certification support for the right candidate. Most team members obtain certification within the first 60 days. Hourly rate is based on experience, education, and credential with increases tied to certification and skill development.

What You’ll Do
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior interventions
- Provide 1:1 and small group ABA therapy sessions
- Collect and maintain accurate session data and documentation
- Collaborate with team members during clinical and team meetings
- Maintain RBT certification and supervision requirements
- Follow ethical guidelines and clinic policies
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development

What You Bring
- Minimum age of 18 & at least High school diploma or GED
- RBT certification (or willingness to obtain—training provided)
- Experience working with children (preferred)
- Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, Safety Care, and other required certifications (provided by clinic)
- Effective verbal and written communication in English
Physical Requirements of the Role
- Ability to actively engage with children throughout sessions, including time spent sitting, kneeling, or working on the floor
- Ability to move quickly and respond to children in a variety of settings
- Ability to lift, carry, or assist children and materials (typically up to 30–50 lbs)
- Ability to participate in movement-based and play-based activities throughout the day
