This includes managing guest accommodations, laundry services, and maintaining cleanliness in public and work areas. The supervisor provides comprehensive training to departmental staff and enforces all company policies, procedures, and brand standards to uphold our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Effectively manage departmental operations in accordance with established company procedures.
- Accurately compile and report accommodation statuses to the Front Office team.
- Enforce standard procedures for handling guest lost and found items, ensuring security and proper return protocols.
- Maintain strict security over department keys.
- Monitor payroll and control departmental costs, ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
- Oversee the completion of orientation checklists, training guides, and documentation for all new hires.
- Document and process incident reports as required.
- Perform all assigned duties as outlined in the Minimum Performance Standards.
- Adhere to all company work rules, procedures, and policies, including those detailed in the Employee Handbook.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality services to meet and exceed guest expectations, enhancing guest relations.
- Collaborate with other department heads to effectively resolve guest complaints.
- Maintain clear and consistent departmental communication through staff meetings, logbooks, and bulletin boards.
- Provide the highest standard of customer service at all times.
- Attend all departmental meetings and trainings as scheduled.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with members of various hotel departments.
- Professional demeanor and the ability to represent the hotel positively while interacting with the public.
- Competence in ordering, receiving supplies, and maintaining adequate inventory levels.
