The Sales Development Associate opening for our client is responsible for generating new business opportunities by engaging K–12 education leaders and securing qualified meetings for Account Executives. This role serves as the first point of contact for prospects, driving outbound outreach efforts and contributing directly to the company’s growth. The position offers exposure to go-to-market strategy, hands-on sales development experience, and close collaboration with leadership in a fast-growing EdTech environment.
- Execute high-volume outbound prospecting, including 100+ cold calls per day to K–12 school and district decision-makers
- Generate and schedule at least 10+ qualified product demos per week for Account Executives
- Follow up with inbound marketing leads and nurture interest into sales opportunities
- Develop personalized outreach across channels, including email and short-form video messaging
- Build relationships with prospects and stakeholders through consistent communication and rapport-building
- Attend industry conferences and events multiple times per quarter to generate leads and schedule meetings
- Maintain organized tracking of outreach efforts and pipeline activity
- Participate in ongoing coaching, training, and feedback sessions to improve sales skills and execution
- Apply the company’s sales playbook to effectively prospect and engage potential customers
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with demonstrated persistence, accountability, and follow-through
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to think quickly and build rapport
- High level of motivation, resilience, and comfort with repetitive outbound work
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain consistency in daily activity
- Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and continuously improve
- Interest in working in a startup environment and contributing to company growth
- Ability to work in-office in Omaha, NE (or Little Rock, AR for exceptional candidates)
- Preferred: Prior experience in sales development or customer-facing roles (for example retail, hospitality, recruiting)
- Preferred: Interest in the education sector and supporting school leaders
- Preferred: Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Slack, and Google Workspace
